EL GOBERNADOR IS BORN UNDER THE CLEAR SKIES OF THE LIMARÍ VALLEY IN NORTHERN CHILE.
In 1928 in Penedès Spain, Juan Torres Casals began the distillation of his wines to make brandy, this experience led Miguel Torres Maczassek 84 years later to elaborate the first pisco of the winerie in Chile.
In the IV region, in the Limarí valley, the variety of Muscat grapes is harvested, a variety that is perfect to flavor this wonderful concoction,“El Gobernador”, the name given to our “Pisco Reservado”.

In 1889 at the universal exhibition in Paris, Chilean pisco was presented for the first time at an international level and the Chilean government obtained the denomination of origin and exclusivity for the production of Pisco in 1931.
